This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Church of Satan and Rabid Crow Arts and Graphic was lucky enough to play an important role in celebrating this historic moment. In 1966, Anton LaVey founded the Church of Satan and over the half century since then Satanism has been a formally established religion centered around the values epitomized by the historical character of Satan; indulgence, vital existence, vengeance, pride, liberation from the strictures of monotheism, and rejoicing in the fleshly life. In 2016, the Church of Satan convened a large international gathering of its members for a conclave in Poughkeepsie, New York. The event included art, music, speeches, a lavish cocktail party hosted by Old Nick Magazine and dinner, and a high ritual. Rabid Crow designed and produced the artwork that graced the official t-shirt for this historic event. The shirts are printed with the official 50th Anniversary graphic on both sides, a smaller one on the breast and a large one on the back.
